In the world of motorsport, sometimes encounters happen that just make sense - like our new partnership between Paddock Legends and RSRNürburg. It's a meeting of two companies that represent different, yet perfectly complementary, facets of motorsport.
RSRNürburg is not just an institution at the legendary Nürburgring but also synonymous with authentic racing experiences. With over 20 years of experience, RSRNürburg provides access to one of the world's most challenging racetracks, making the dream of driving under racing conditions accessible to everyone. The story of RSR (Ron Simons Racing) is one born out of a passion for driving. Tired of soulless office work and life in the crowded city, RSR founder Ron Simons left the Netherlands heading south, in search of boundless freedom.
At that time, the Nürburgring was all about the brand-new Grand Prix track. However, the forgotten Nordschleife was still open daily - you just had to find it first. Hidden behind a grandstand and an iron gate, this 20 km long rollercoaster of a prehistoric racetrack was still accessible and open every day of the week.
For Ron, it was all about enjoying genuine driving pleasure with friends back then, and it still is today. Over the years, RSR has grown and now includes a large team of passionate employees, an international network of agents, and over 100 track-prepared rental vehicles in every sports car segment. Ron and his team have always enjoyed helping customers fulfill their dreams of driving on the Nürburgring Nordschleife and in Spa-Francorchamps.
Alongside the Nürburgring, RSR also has a deep connection to Spa-Francorchamps, one of the holy grails of historic Grand Prix tracks. For Ron, Spa was always a fascination, especially given its rating by many Formula 1 drivers as the best track in the world and Eau Rouge as the best curve. During his student years, Ron explored the new shortcut on the shortened track to avoid traffic in both directions – as it was still a public road at that time.
Over the years, RSR has grown into a sizable team and now has over 20 ambitious employees and an international network of contacts, as well as more than 100 track-suitable rental cars from every sports car segment.
RSR has introduced tens of thousands of people and helped them drive safely both on the Nürburgring Nordschleife and in Spa-Francorchamps.
