The 2023 DTM champions are Manthey EMA and Porsche. The Porsche customer team and the Stuttgart-based sports car manufacturer secured victory in the overall team standings in their first joint DTM participation.
The Norwegian Dennis Olsen gained experience in racing at an early age when he first got into a kart at the age of 5. He won the Norwegian karting title in his age group at the age of 13 and was named "Rookie of the Year" in the World Series Karting Final Cup at 15. In the later years of his youth, he made the natural step into formula racing. For some, Olsen's move from formula to GT racing came as a surprise, as the Norwegian was predicted to have a career in Formula 1. But in 2016, at the age of 20, Dennis Olsen successfully continued his career in the Porsche Carrera Cup as a Porsche Junior. Since switching to GT racing and Porsche, he has successfully competed in sprint and endurance races. In 2023, he climbed into a Porsche 911 GT3 R for Manthey EMA in the DTM and finished 7th in the overall driver standings.

Manthey
Manthey-Racing GmbH was founded in 1996 by Olaf Manthey. The following year, the company "Manthey-Motors" was added to expand the company portfolio with a division exclusively for road cars. In 2013, the companies Manthey-Motors and Raeder Automotive merged and merged into the newly founded Manthey-Racing GmbH. The brothers Martin and Nicolas Raeder took over the day-to-day business before a majority takeover of the company shares from Dr. Ing. h. c. F. Porsche AG took place in the same year.
