Chinese racing driver Zhou Guanyu joined Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN for the 2022 Formula 1 season. The test drive in Barcelona at the end of February 2022 was thus his first appearance as a regular driver in the Formula 1 circus. He is thus the first Chinese to make it into the premier class of motorsport as a driver.
