The Bahrain Grand Prix took place on 20 March 2022 at the Bahrain International Circuit and covered a distance of 57 laps of 5.412 km each, for a total distance of 308.238 km.
Starting the race from 15th position was Zhou Guanyu of Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN in his Ferrari-powered Alfa Romeo C42 race car. In his first Formula 1 Grand Prix, he ended up in 10th place and scored his first World Championship point at the first attempt.
