Bentley Motorsport and the 24 Hours of Le Mans

The renowned car manufacturer Bentley Motors Ltd. has been involved in international motor sport since the company was founded in 1919. The official supplier to the British royal family celebrated its greatest successes in the 1920s, especially in the legendary 24-hour race at Le Mans, and even won the overall title between 1927 and 1930.

After a long abstinence of 70 years, the newly established Bentley Motorsport Team returned to the myth of Le Mans in 2001. On the race track, situated in the north-west of France, the team quickly regained its former strength and secured another victory in the overall classification in 2003.
