Alpine F1 Team and the F1™ story
The Alpine F1 Team, until 2020 Renault DP World F1 Team, is a British-based motorsport racing team that has competed in the Formula One World Championship since 2016. The team, owned by French car manufacturer Renault, succeeded the former Lotus F1 Team. This is the French company's third factory-based Formula One entry. Renault had already been involved in Formula One from 1977 to 1985 as Équipe Renault and from 2001 to 2009 as Renault F1.
Supplying teams such as Williams, Benetton and Red Bull, Renault won a total of nine drivers' world championships between 1992 and 2013 with Nigel Mansell, Alain Prost, Michael Schumacher, Damon Hill, Jacques Villeneuve, Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso. Renault F1 established turbo technology in Grand Prix racing in the late 1970s. Their involvement in Formula 1 led to numerous other car manufacturers entering the highest motorsport class as engine suppliers.
Since 2021, Alpine has been competing with the Spaniard Fernando Alonso, the world champion in 2005 and 2006, and the Frenchman Esteban Ocon. We offer matching team and driver fan wear in various colours and designs. Caps, T-shirts, jumpers and jackets for women, men and children.
