The Ford GT40 was designed specifically to beat Ferrari in the 1960s, or so the story goes - but its impact on motorsport ended up being far greater than either company had anticipated.

In 1966, the Mk.II version of the car dominated the 24 Hours of Le Mans, finishing first, second and third, and went on to win in the following three years. This Ford GT40 poster shows the yellow Alan Mann Racing Ltd GT40 driven by Sir John Whitmore and Frank Gardner in 1966.

To reflect the prestige of the GT40, only 500 limited edition prints were produced on high quality paper.

The print was created using Automobilist's signature 3D digital modelling technique to produce a computer generated image of stunning quality.
