The Bahrain Grand Prix took place on 5 March 2023 on the Bahrain International Circuit and covered a distance of 57 laps of 5.412 km each, which corresponds to a total distance of 308.434 km.
Pierre Gasly from the BWT Alpine F1 Team started the race from 20th position in his A523 racing car with a Renault engine. In the first race of the season, Gasly fought his way forwards continuously and even finished in the points in 9th place.
