Michael Schumacher #3
Formula 1 Season 2000
On 21 May 2000 the European Grand Prix took place at the Nürburgring. The race went over a distance of 67 laps / 305 km.
Michael Schumacher, starting from position 2 with his Ferrari F1-2000, was able to defend his position at the start and after 10 laps he took the lead from long-time rival Mika Häkkinen. He did not relinquish this lead until the end of the race and won the European Grand Prix ahead of the McLaren-Mercedes drivers Häkkinen and Coulthard.
It was his fourth victory in six Grand Prix races by then, giving him the clear lead in the overall standings. At the end of the season he won nine of the 17 races and thus secured his first world championship title with Ferrari and his third title overall.
The model was produced in the usual high Ixo quality and reflects the original in the best possible way. The collector's item with inserted driver figure comes in an exclusive "World Champion" Collector Edition box in black.
