The Hungarian Grand Prix took place at the Hungaroring on 31 July 2022 and covered a distance of 70 laps of 4.381km, giving a total distance of 306.63km.
Starting from 10th place, Max Verstappen of the Oracle Red Bull Racing team took to the grid in his RB18 race car. In the 13th race of the season, Verstappen fought his way to the front immediately after the start and placed himself just behind the leading group. After the second pit stop on lap 41, he was able to gain the lead and win the race.
