The Canadian Grand Prix took place on 19 June 2022 at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve and covered a distance of 70 laps of 4.361 km, for a total distance of 305.270 km.
Starting from pole position was Max Verstappen of the Oracle Red Bull Racing Team in his RB18 race car. In the ninth race of the season, Verstappen was able to defend his position and won the Grand Prix by a slim margin of less than a second over Carlos Sainz in the Ferrari.
