Since the foundation of the motorsport team Manthey-Racing, the Nürburgring Endurance Series, NLS for short, has been a hobbyhorse of the company from Meuspath. In this racing series, which has been held at the Nürburgring since 1977, the team is the sole record holder with over 50 victories in individual races to date and has always been able to leave the competition behind.
The Manthey Racing Team also competed in the NLS in the 2022 season with the Porsche 911 GT3 R in Grello livery. With drivers Michael Christensen, Frédéric Makowiecki and Laurens Vanthoor under the starting number 911, they started the first round, which marked the season opener with a race duration of 4 hours. After 29 laps, the trio crossed the finish line in first place and thus secured the 56th overall victory for Manthey.
The 1/18th scale model was produced in the usual high Ixo quality and reflects the original in the best possible way.
