The São Paulo Grand Prix took place on 13 November 2022 at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace and covered a distance of 71 laps of 4.303 km, giving a total distance of 305.909 km.
Having already won the sprint race, Russel started from pole position in the main race in his Mercedes AMG Petronas W13 race car. In the penultimate race of the season, Russel defended his position to the finish and took his first Formula 1 Grand Prix victory.
