The Ford GT40 MK II #3 24h LeMans 1966 Gurney, Grant model in 1/43rd scale
In 1966 the Team Shelby-American Inc. was able to occupy places 1-3 in the overall classification of the 24h Le Mans race. However, the team around Dan Gurney and Jerry Grant only managed 19th place in the overall classification that year. Things were to go better the following year for Dan Gurney, who would take the title with his new partner A. J. Foyt in the new Ford model GT40 MK IV. At this victory in 1967, Gurney invented the champagne shower on the side as well, when he spontaneously started to spray the audience with the winning champagne on the podium.
The model was produced in the usual high CMR quality and reflects the original in the best possible way.
