Mick Schumacher is a German racing driver. He is the son of the legendary Formula-1™ world champion Michael Schumacher. Mick began his motorsport career in 2008 and, like his father Michael Schumacher, initially drove in karting. In 2017 and 2018 he competed in the European Formula 3 Championship, in which he won the championship title in 2018.
He has been competing in the FIA Formula 2 Championship since 2019 and his victory in Hungary in 2019 was his first victory in the FIA Formula 2 Championship. Mick is currently driving with the Prema Powerteam and competes in the 2019 FIA Formula 2 Championship. In addition, he already participates in Ferrari's Young Talent Promotion Programme and drives in the Ferrari Driver Academy. Although Mick is still a very young racer, he has the potential to become a racing legend like his father.
