Aston Martin F1 Team and the F1™ story
The name Aston Martin is returning to the Formula 1 circus. The legendary British sports car manufacturer will once again compete in the top class of racing from the 2021 season as the Aston Martin F1 Team. This is a continuation of the company's more than 100-year racing history and, after an absence of more than 60 years, it will once again be involved in F1 Grand Prix action.
The Aston Martin factory team, which has enjoyed great success in racing in recent years, including several class victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, takes over the former F1 Team Racing Point and thus extends its commitment into the most famous of all motorsport arenas, Formula 1.
With its drivers, 4-time F1 World Champion Sebastian Vettel and emerging talent Lance Stroll, the new team combines unrivalled experience with the ambition needed to reach for the crown in motorsport's premier class.
